Taylor Swift Tallies 70th Hot 100 Hit, Tying Nicki Minaj for Second-Most Among Women

A week after Minaj passed Swift with the bow of “Black Barbies,” Swift returns the volley with the entrance of “I Don’t Wanna Live Forever,” with Zayn.

As previously reported, Rae Sremmurd leads the Billboard Hot 100 (dated Dec. 31) for a sixth week with “Black Beatles,” featuring Gucci Mane. Among other notable news, Zayn and Taylor Swift’s “I Don’t Wanna Live Forever (Fifty Shades Darker)” debuts at No. 6, marking Swift’s milestone 20th Hot 100 top 10, a sum that only five other women have previously achieved. (Madonna leads all acts with 38 top 10s.)

“Live” also marks Swift’s 70th career Hot 100 entry, pulling her even with Nicki Minaj, who had passed Swift a week ago when her “Beatles” makeover “Black Barbies” debuted. Both artists now trail only Queen of Soul Aretha Franklin, the leader among women with 73 appearances.
