Taylor Performs at Alibaba’s 11.11 Global Shopping Festival

Taylor Swift captivated the audience as she took to the stage at the 2019 gala of Alibaba’s 11.11 Global Shopping Festival at Mercedes-Benz Arena in Shanghai, China on Sunday evening.

The award-winning musician, 29, ensured all eyes were on her as she performed her hit singles in a silver bedazzled belted jacket, embellished with geometric printing throughout.

Maintaining her quirky display, the You Belong To Me hitmaker tied in her bold outerwear piece with a clingy bodysuit and thigh-high heeled boots of the same pattern.

The Me! singer injected a hint of colour to her look as she accentuated her beauty with her signature matte red lipstick, complemented with heavily-winged eyeliner and generous sweeps of blusher.

With her tresses styled into loose waves, Taylor appeared in great spirits as she delighted the crowd with her lively set at the glitzy ceremony.

Adding even more pazzazz to her appearance, the media personality sang through a black sequinned microphone during her energetic gig.

Taylor was joined by a number of Chinese performers during the starry event, including G.E.M., Hua Chenyu, Kana Hanazawa, Ju Jingyi, Li Ronghao, Luo Yunxi, Jackson Yee, Zhang Jie and Zhang Yixing.

Alibaba’s live show leads up to the biggest shopping day in the world, with over 500 million people expected to participate this year.

Last year, over 400 million people took part in Alibaba’s 11.11, with a whopping $30.8 billion in gross merchandising volume over the 24-hour sale, eclipsing America’s Black Friday and Cyber Monday combined ($24.2 billion).

The singer is just as big in China as she is in the United States, with her new album Lover topping more than 1 million in album equivalent sales in its first week.
