self-care masterpost: Taylor Swift songs

Yesterday I read a post by @no-its-becky asking whether someone could make a self-care masterpost for Taylor’s songs. As I already made a clean speeches one and I love procrastinating stuff I actually should get done before school starts next week, I decided to do one. I did not include every song of hers because some might be exactly what you’re feeling, but I tried to sort through to those who give you some sort of advice and actually cheer you up. Sorry for that.

when you’re angry and need to let your anger out:

  • Picture To Burn
  • Better Than Revenge
  • Look What You Made Me Do
  • Should’ve Said No
  • We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together
  • Bad Blood

when you feel alone with the sentiment of not fitting in/when you feel alone in general:

  • A Place In This World
  • The Outside
  • Long Live
  • New Romantics

when a friendship/relationship came to an end and you’re blaming yourself for it:

  • Cold As You
  • White Horse
  • Forever & Always
  • Dear John
  • Bad Blood

when you hate your own appearance:

  • Tied Together With A Smile

when you feel like real love does not exist anymore:

  • Mary’s Song (Oh My My My)
  • You Are In Love
  • King Of My Heart
  • Call It What You Want
  • Mine
  • New Year’s Day
  • Dress

when you think there’s no way out anymore:

  • Fifteen
  • Change
  • Begin Again
  • Welcome To New York
  • Clean
  • Safe & Sound
  • Sweeter Than Fiction

when you’re treated unfairly/meanly:

  • Tell Me Why
  • Mean
  • Shake It Off
  • I Did Something Bad

when someone comes around saying sorry to you (while he/she continuously proved he/she won’t stick to their words) and now you don’t know what to do:

  • You’re Not Sorry
  • White Horse
  • The Last Time
  • This Is Why We Can’t Have Nice Things

when you feel like your past mistakes make you a horrible person:

  • Innocent

when you think it was a fault to love someone:

  • Holy Ground

when people make up rumors about you that aren’t true:

  • Blank Space

And finally,

when you just need a fun, upbeat song to cheer you up:

  • Stay Beautiful
  • Our Song
  • You Belong With Me
  • The Best Day
  • 22
  • Stay Stay Stay
  • Shake It Off
  • How You Get The Girl
  • New Romantics
  • Ours
  • Gorgeous
