Taylor Swift talks to Ellen

Taylor will make an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, airing on Monday (October 27).

During her interview she talked about her upcoming appearance on The Voice and mentioned Adam Levine’s biggest weakness.

“You learn things about these coaches. Like you learn their weaknesses. Like Adam Levine’s weakness are musical theatre songs. Did you know that?” Taylor said.

Also in the interview, Taylor talked about her irrational fear of being arrested, saying, “Oh so many people would frame me. And they can frame you for any crime that you could go to jail for. Look at me, I wouldn’t survive in jail. I think it comes from the fact that I could open up my phone, I could look at my phone and see any headline written about me at any time and it could be the most ridiculously untrue thing. So I think the dream and nightmare of being framed comes from; I could do nothing wrong, I could sit in my house with the cats all day and somehow there could be an article about me buying a house in a place I’ve never been or dating a guy I’ve never met. So, it’s like, ya know, but then you take it a step further and in a nightmare world it’s being framed for murder.”

Taylor Swift on Aussie talk shows

Taylor’s been busy downunder, first appearing on the X Facator then making the talk show rounds.

Appearing on the 2Day FM’s breakfast she hit back against the ‘haters’ telling Sophie Monk and Merrick Watts, “They use you writing songs about your life as a way to play detective, and for me I have a really strict personal policy that I never name names.”

Adding that media stories that tried to match her ex-flames to her songs was misguided.

“You are going to have people who are going to see the depth at which you approached the song – the fact you put your real emotions into it,” she said.

“And then you are going to have the people who are going to say, “Oh you know like she just writes stories about her ex boyfriends’ and I think frankly that’s a very sexist angle to take.”

The 24 year old went on to point out her male counterparts in the music industry don’t have to deal with this.

“No one says that about Ed Sheeran, no one says it about Bruno Mars. They’re all writing songs about their exes, their current girlfriends, their love life and no one raises a red flag there.”

Taylor also was interviewed be Luke McGregor from Australian TV.

Taylor Swift on Vogue Cover

TAYLOR SWIFT makes her first Vogue cover in the November issue. Inside, Taylor talks to Jo Ellison about her upcoming album, her style, and taking a break from dating, and of course Nashville.

“This time around I’ve chosen the brave way of going about things,” she said. “Because with this album I’ve completely changed the sound of everything I’ve done until now. So it is interesting to not be afraid of that. You know, I didn’t want to hurt people’s feelings, I don’t want to betray Nashville, but essentially it comes down to challenging yourself as an artist.”

“Dating or finding a boyfriend is the last thing on my mind, because I can’t picture how it could work with the way my life is right now,” she added. “I don’t know how a guy is supposed to walk next to his girlfriend when there are 20 men with cameras, and he can’t protect his girlfriend because that’s the life she has chosen. I just don’t see it working, so I don’t think about it, and I kind of run from it when it presents itself. ‘Because I don’t think any guy really understands. They think that they would want to get to know me, and maybe date me, but they don’t realize what comes with it.”
