Did you see the video of Jared Leto talking about Taylor's 1989 songs that TMZ posted? It's him in a studio with his bandmate. Pretty harsh.

Taking written quotes without context and expression is always bad. My thoughts exactly on WTNY tho, hah. It seems they really liked Blank Space and maybe Style. TMZ gonna TMZ that headline, he wasn’t even commenting on her or her music. It was them experimenting listening to different music and seeing if it clicks with their vision. (they were and are recording new music) Also in the context and the way he says it, having heard Jared speak many times, when he responded “fuck her I don’t give a fuck about her, it’s about whatever works best for us” that’s all there is to it. It wasn’t aggressive, he was being passive as in like “no, fuck(ignore) that, this is what we need to focus on”. He was just being frank in talking in the context of 30STM music and focusing on what works for them…not her or anyone else, which makes sense. I’d like to see them go back to rock so hopefully they stop listening to pop records :/ Judging by his eyebrows still not grown back from Suicide Squad this looks like this was filmed months ago, so I’m wondering what this is even from and what’s up with the selective cuts like the last question you don’t even hear the full thing? Not liking how it’s put together and TMZ trying to stir shit with the attention grabbing selective quotes which don’t mean much in context. Doesn’t surprise me tho, he just snap backed at the media on Twitter the other day when people were making stories and putting words in his mouth off a simple repost he did showing appreciation to a fan-made meme.
